MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We had a wonderful trip to Ohio to celebrate Christmas this year. We spent time with lots of family and friends and squished more than we possibly could into 4 days with 2 small children! The travels were easy and snow/contruction-free. The kids did awesome in the 6 hour car ride (both to and from!). It was such a blessing to visit with those we love!

We hope your holiday was full of love and happiness!
More photos to come...I can only work on pics during naptime!

The fun of Christmas Time!

Today was a fun day of being stuck inside! We had 6 inches of snow and it was VERY cold too! So, why not make the best of it!? We made a gingerbread house - Joey was HIGH on sugar! Morgan became Santa's little helper - both has his reindeer and elf!

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

What an exciting adventure it is to search for a tree!

We spent Saturday driving far north to a tree farm. Once we arrived (and we got Joey to finally put on his extra warm coat - forget about a hat!) - we were on our way to a fun filled day of tree hunting, cutting down the tree with a hand held saw, visiting with Santa (Joey's not such a big fan) and looking in the barn to find a kitten!
This is a tradition we started before we even had the kids!
We just love how much MORE FUN it is with them along!

Thanks G-ma Williams aka "Mo" for the perfect fleece snow suit for Morgan and the extra bulky and warm down coat for Joey! Those were MUST HAVE'S with the temperature that morning!

We wish you all a fun filled and wonderful holiday season!

What a FUN NOVEMBER!

Happy November!
We had a great month! Morgan is nearly walking - but luckily she won't let go of things so that slows her down. She is beginning to really babble and enjoys being a part of conversation, singing and talking even if she is the only one who knows what she is saying! She is pointing, waving and clapping her hands to cheer on everyone too. Joey is all the sudden able to reach the tops of dressers and coutertops so he must be growing again! He loves music and the planets - just ask him and he'll tell you all about them!
Thanksgiving was lots of fun - we hosted both sides of the family at our home - it was a full house but we had great food and great company.
We wish you all a wonderful December, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

TRICK OR TREATING and a PILE OF LEAVES!

Happy Halloween!
Wednesday night began with Joey having a COMPLETE breakdown about putting on the pumpkin costume - so we pretty much gave up...then a knock came to the door - it was the Seiglers! Joey was literally screeming, crying and slamming his fists in the air, then the knock at the door brought him to silence. As soon as Joey saw Coop walk in as a chicken - Joey comes up to me and says "Mom, can I put on my pumpkin costume?" Who are you and what did you do with my truly 2 year old son!?, I thought!

So the night turned out great - we met lots of neighbors and the Seiglers joined us at a few houses to stock up on some well needed candy!

The leaf pile was just from today and boy did the kids have fun! Joey was thrown into the pile by Daddy - which made him nearly LOST within the pile - it was a great night for a leaf pile!

We hope you enjoy this fall weather and all that it brings - especially the piles of leaves!

Well, the Halloween Party was a complete success! We had neighbors, co-workers, old friends and new friends and LOTS of kids! We saw a wide range of costumes and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Here are a few of the photos from the party - if you were there - send me more!

Wishing you a Happy Halloween!
