Winter Wonderland

This was Jackson's first time in the snow! (it barely ever snowed last winter).

The "Blizzard of 2012" gave us over a foot of snow - it brought LOTS of fun times for the kiddos -

We started in 2009 with the Jesse Tree during the month of December - to keep the focus of Christmas on it's True meaning. I got this new "tree" from my friend for Christmas this year - it allows for the progression to stay in order and climb the tree as the days draw closer to the birth of Jesus - I just love it! (and so do the kids!)

Happy 6th Birthday Morgan!

Morgan was going to have her Birthday Party on Thursday, but the weather didn't cooperate. We had the "Blizzard of 2012" - which was really not THAT BAD - but there was no way to have the party that day, so instead, we switched it to Friday.

All of Morgan's classmates from the Oaks were invited and of course her cousin Zani and her BFF Reese were invited too!

She didn't have a "theme" this year - as she isn't into anything in particular - so instead, I just decorated the house in purple balloons. This kids had a blast!

So her birthday party was on the 28th, but her REAL birthday was on the 29th - Gram Young, my folks and brother and even Aunt Cat and Jer were able to be at dinner to celebrate.

Morgan asked for a locket for her birthday - she wants this last photo in her locket :)

Merry Christmas!

We went to Christmas Eve service at Common Ground and the kids got all dressed up.

Happy Birthday Jesus (and Morgan) Party at the Oaks

Morgan's Kindergarten Class had a Happy Birthday Jesus party at the end of school the last day before Christmas Break. Mrs. Chizum was kind enough to allow me to celebrate HER birthday (Dec. 22) too! Another one of Morgan's classmates (Malik) also has his birthday over break - so we celebrated them all!

Christmas Concerts - ECC and The Oaks

Jameson did a fantastic job singing his song with his class. He is Mrs. Wright and Mrs. McBroom's 3's class on T and Fridays. He loves it and this was such a sweet performance!
