STATE FAIR 2010!

Annually, on this day of the State Fair, we wake up at the CRACK of dawn and arrive at the State Fair before sunrise...to see the Hot Air Balloon Race!!
Unfortunately, this year, it was a bust...
The weather was too unpredictable, so all they did was blow up a few of the "sponsor" hot air balloons - never even left the ground! But the kids didn't mind a bit!

It was still a great day and lots of fun was had by all!

This was no easy task to take...it's as good as I can do with this crew!



Morgan is our POKEY girl...the last to arrive anywhere...due to her daydreaming and climbing around...



I was hoping to have all 3 of my kids in a photo with me...but alas, Morgan hid behind Joe (the photographer) and he took this one upside down...good one, eh?



Staying positive and smiling, even if the balloons weren't taking off for a race today.

Travels to Michigan and Renovations at home!

So the kids and I headed off to Michigan to visit Mo and Bubba (that's gma and gpa Williams!) while we had a guy come and finish our drywall efforts on the kitchen and addition upstairs! SO EXCITING!
Here is the before of what our kitchen ceiling has looked like for about a year...

The kids and I and Uncle Ry Ry visited a Nature Park while in Michigan this week:









Jameson has enjoyed the bounty of summer harvest in Indiana...here is some Farmers Market watermelon...



and here is a cucumber from our garden!

Summer FUN in July!

There was a super cool jungle gym where the kids loved to play.



JJ was fearless going down the slide.



We roasted Smores with the cousins around a campfire.



Joey was VERY careful at roasting.



Cousin Julian enjoyed her treat.



The vacation house had a great view of sunset each night.



Jameson only got to see the sunset on the last night, every other night, he was already in bed. So just the big kids and mommy and daddy watched the sun set on Lake Erie each night.



Aunt Bonnie brought her golf cart to the vacation house this year - it was a HUGE HIT with the kids!



We visited Midway Park again this year!
We always start with the boat ride!

The helicopter was a big hit!



Joey "Drove" his car as if he was steering himself - I think he'll have his license by next summer!



The airplane allowed for one to face forward and one to face backwards...



Morgan and Joey were at war!



Barcelona Beach was a super fun place to visit!



The boys loved Lake Erie!









On the drive home (which was 9 hours) we stopped just west of Columbus, Ohio to break up the trip. We found this fantastic park off exit 85 called Prairie Park - it was a great way to burn off some energy!









Before vacation, the kids and I and our neighbors Heather and Dylan went to Spencer Farm to pick blueberries!





We've had a great summer so far!
