What a wonderful Easter we had!
We started the morning with an Easter egg hunt.
Then searched for the Easter Treasure Box (which included a scripture for each child).
Then we ate our Easter Resurrection Rolls (They were empty! Just like the tomb of Jesus!) - and best part was they tasted like donuts! :)
Now, getting a good family photo was, well, impossible, so here's the best I could do!
Easter Resurrection Rolls
1 pkg. Rhodes frozen bread dough rolls
24 lg. marshmallows
melted butter
sugar & cinnamon mix
Thaw 24 rolls. Flatten a roll to about 3" in diameter. Place a large marshmallow in the center of the dough and pinch it together around the marshmallow. Roll in the palm of your hand into a dough ball. Dip in melted butter, then sugar/cinnamon mix and place on a greased cookie sheet. Let them rise until doubled (30-60 min). Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
