Morgan's Vervet Monkey Project

In first grade, at the Oaks, they do an African animal study.  They are given a blank tri fold board and a list of animals.  They are to choose one animal and do a presentation about it.  Of ALL the animals to choose, Morgan chose the Vervet Monkey....ever heard of it?  Me neither.

Want to check out a book about it?  There are 2 - one that is a text book style, college reading level study on the animal (yawn a rama!) and one very beautiful story with vervet's on the cover...but it's not an "educational/informative' book, it's a story book.

So, we relied on the internet to get photos.

And here is what she created...out of pretty much nothing....
She rocked it!
