As soon as school began, it became clear that Morgan needed some support. Her teacher had expressed concern with her school work - as often, she should have been doing work, but instead was sucking her fingers. With patience and grace, her teacher continues to track her efforts through notes each day. We created a checklist - that Morgan and I made together - with her identifying things that would support and help her, motivate her to quit and encourage her towards daily success. It's going very well. She's still not fingers free - but at least her distraction at school has been greatly minimized. So thankful for our school and teachers who walk alongside our weaknesses.
