Last Day of School

Joey had a wonderful first grade year. His teacher, Mrs. Kilmer was the best of the best. Joey won the "I have something to share" Award! That about sums up his year - he was free to speak about all the many things he learned about once a topic or subject was discussed...he brought in clothes when they learned about China and took them to each of the 1st grade classes, so everyone could experience them...he took pictures, art, books, photo albums...anything that someone had that related to school - he even brought in some of his musical instruments to show his classmates - and EVERY TIME Mrs. Kilmer embraced his passion, supported his interests and built upon his love for learning. We will truly miss Mrs. Kilmer.
