Late in May, just days before school ended, the wheels had fallen off for the Schmidt House.  Morgan, without saying a word on the van ride to school, forgot shoes....yes, she came to school in just socks....she had to find a pair of shoes from the lost and found and luckily, the Colonial Day from 5th grade had just happened and there was actually a pair of boots big enough to fit her size 9 (women's) feet.  I showed up at noon (after my meetings at Butler were finished and I could get back to school to bring her proper footwear) and this was the current situation.....

Early Education Field Day (Megan oversees all activities and volunteers)

Lower School Field Day (the next day) and again, Megan oversees all activities and volunteers

Memorial Day Parade!

Rivi Day at the pool!  Is it summer yet???

Annual Schmidt State Park camp out with friends (in our back yard!)

A day at the Lake at Cat and Jer's house

Jameson had to say good-bye to his teacher, Miss Nussbaum, who he was lucky enough to have for both 1st and 2nd grade.  She is off to Chicago to launch another Oaks Academy and we will miss her greatly.
