My how time flies: Easter 2013
Bubba is doing GREAT!
The kids got all inspired by a kids cooking show on a cooking channel - Jameson made a DELICIOUS white chocolate cheesecake, Morgan made a yummy cookie cake and Jackson made a triple berry cobbler.
All kids picked their recipe, made a shopping list, we went to the grocery store and got all the supplies and the kids made every bit of each of these desserts - it was AMAZING!
Happy 13th Birthday Joey!
Joey wanted a Pizza and Movie night with a small group of friends.
I want to remember this, so I will tell the story. Joey does not have a cell phone and won't until he gets to High School. (we don't feel he needs one yet). Many of the kids had cell phones and sadly, while the movie was on and even while playing out in the yard or eating pizza, a few of the kids could not put down their phones. Originally, Joey was begging for a phone for his 13th birthday, but after that party, he decided he didn't want to have one yet. And we have adjusted the way we host gatherings of kids in Middle School - no cell phones please :)
