Colts Stadium Tour
We created a bucket list for the summer. We actually did EVERYTHING on this list! (some were as simple as a bike ride, eating ice cream and some where a little more effort - like Monon Center and Conner Prarie). But one that was NOT on the list - was a Lucas Oil Stadium tour!
But, I'm so glad we went!
Uncle Tom and Aunt Debbie were in town visiting from California, and one fun experience we wanted to give them was a tour of our stadium - they loved it and so did our kids!
The photo of Jameson in the locker is actually THE locker Peyton Manning used for all the years he was on our team - pretty awesome to be able to go into the actual Colts locker room!
We got to walk across the field (bare foot, of course!) and we got to see many of the amazing views, from up high, and on the field.
We almost didn't get to finish the tour because Joey was NOT going to go up an escalator that virtually hung from one floor to the one below - so Joey, myself and Jackson ended up getting stuck at the bottom while the rest of the tour went up it....which meant we were trapped, lost or in other words forced to go to plan B.
Luckily for Joey, the true tour guide of our tour was a little late and so as we approached the ticket office outside of Lucas (which was the only way the doors we exited too us) - we were able to take an ELEVATOR to meet up with the group.
It worked out just fine and now I know I need to be more watchful of alternative ways to get to other levels in large stadiums, halls and buildings - poor Jojo.
